She has a Master of Community and Regional Planning from the University of British Columbia, specializing in environmental and biodiversity conservation planning. Her work as a biologist and environmental engineer focuses on using geospatial and remote sensing technology to study natural environments. Vanessa’s work with GIS technology highlights her passion to create meaningful maps and spatial tools for planning. Her dream is to support biodiversity restoration through knowledgeable, equitable and culturally significant environmental policy.
