At EcoPlan, we understand that planning decisions have direct impacts on community health and well-being. We are dedicated to increasing the presence of health considerations in community plans and have worked with local governments and provincial health care authorities to realize this. From facilitating workshops for health professional to learn how re-engage with community planning to improve population health outcomes, to cutting edge research on sustainable transportation options, and from healthy built environment policy development to to structured decision-making projects on the delivery of rural maternity care in BC, we have worked on a variety of healthy community development initiatives across Canada.
